Are acuras more expensive to insure?
The short answer is yes. Acuras are a more expensive car to insure, but not by much. It's hard to pinpoint an exact number as the cost of insurance varies from company to company and person to person, but you can expect anywhere from $40-$100 extra per month. A good rule of thumb with any luxury vehicle like the Acura (or BMW or Mercedes) is that they will typically be more expensive than your average sedan due to their higher price tag, and therefore it costs more for parts if they were involved in an accident, and this makes it an expensive car to fix. There might also be deductible fees which you'll need to pay out-of-pocket if your insurance doesn't cover them, and those aren't cheap either. Not to mention that it costs more for a high-performance vehicle like the Acura because you'll need higher quality, name-brand tune-up rather than an off-brand one that can save you money.
Are Acura NSX expensive to maintain?
Considering its $150,000 MSRP, the Acura NSX is definitely not for everyone. However, it has great performance and is an all-wheel-drive vehicle. The good news is that since the Acura NSX was first released in the 1990s, it has evolved into a much more affordable car compared to earlier models of this model. In fact, you can buy a used Acura NSX that will cost around $100,000. When buying a used car, there are some things you need to take into account, such as how old it is and what mileage does it have on it, but also if it's been maintained well or not.
Is the Acura NSX worth it?
The 2019 Acura NSX is purpose-built to make the driver feel like they are in complete control of an exotic supercar. And, if you're willing to pay for it, the NSX will give you the confidence and poise of a hypercar at half (or less) than similar vehicles' prices, all while giving you one of the most rewarding driving experiences possible.
